Proxy server passwords are stored in proxy.ini as plain text in the profile folder. You can find the location of the profile folder by looking at profiles' INI file, usually located in Trillian installation directory (C:\Program Files\Trillian\users\global\profiles.ini).

Even if you have already un-installed Trillian, there is still a good chance that you can recover Trillian passwords for your accounts and profiles. Firstly, run the program, click "Recover password!" button and see if the program manages to automatically find and decrypt Trillian passwords.
If this doesn't work, first of all, find the location where your profile is stored by looking at C:\Program Files\Trillian\users\global\profiles.ini. The necessary paths will be in Preferences Location variable in that file. If the preferences location is not set, then default location is used: C:\Program Files\Trillian\users\default.
Once you have found the location of the needed profile settings, use the From File button in Trillian Password Recovery and browse to the Preferences Location folder. Open each .ini file from there using our tool one by one - it will show if any passwords were found (typically stored in aim.ini, msn.ini, yahoo.ini etc).

* Please note that it's impossible to recover password for a Trillian Pro version membership account. This particular password is not stored on your system. Instead, SHA-1 hash of this password is saved on the local system. Please use official Trillian website to recover your Trillian Pro registration.
